On September 27 & 26, OHPV and others met in Burns, Oregon, to conduct the Burns Speed Test, in partnership with the Burns Chamber of Commerce and the Oregon Department of Transportation. The goal: to find a location suitable for setting human-powered speed records, along with other racing opportunities. One particularly notable participant was Sam Whittingham, holder of numerous world records.
