Jack Gabel's (world premiere) 'Farewell to Wang Wei' marked the 20th anniversary of the 1989 Tienanmen Square democracy demonstration tragedy. Cascadia Composers presented Portland Vocal Consort, The Dickson String Quartet, soprano Nancy Wood with piano accompanist, Jeff Winslow in a concert of music and poetry.
